Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must fulfill the specific educational qualification and experience requirements for each post code:

Educational Qualification & Experience

  • Junior Engineering Assistant-IV (Production): 3 years Diploma in Chemical / Refinery & Petrochemical Engg. or B.Sc. (Maths, Physics, Chemistry or Industrial Chemistry) with minimum 50% marks. Minimum 1 year of post-qualification experience in operation of Pump House, Heater, Reactor, etc. is mandatory.
  • Junior Engineering Assistant-IV (P&U): 3 years Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engg. with Boiler Competency Certificate (1st/2nd Class).
  • Junior Engineering Assistant-IV (Electrical): 3 years Diploma in Electrical Engineering with minimum 50% marks. Minimum 1 year experience in operation/maintenance of Power Generators/Sub-stations.
  • Junior Quality Control Analyst-IV: B.Sc. with Physics, Chemistry/Industrial Chemistry & Mathematics with minimum 50% marks. Minimum 1 year experience in testing of Petroleum Products/Gas Analysis.
  • Junior Engineering Assistant-IV (Fire & Safety): Matric plus Sub-Officers’ Course from NFSC-Nagpur or equivalent with Heavy Vehicle Driving License. Minimum 1 year experience in Fire & Safety.

Age Limit

As on 31 December 2025:

  • Minimum Age: 18 Years
  • Maximum Age: 26 Years
  • Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST (5 Years), OBC-NCL (3 Years), and PwBD candidates as per government rules.

Application Fees

Candidates belonging to General, EWS, and OBC (NCL) categories are required to pay a non-refundable application fee.

  • General/EWS/OBC (NCL): Rs. 300/- (Inclusive of GST)
  • SC/ST/PwBD/ExSM: Exempted (No Fee)
  • Payment Mode: Online (SBI e-Collect/Payment Gateway)

Pay Or Salary

Selected candidates will be placed in the pay scale of Rs. 25,000 – 1,05,000/- (Grade IV). In addition to Basic Pay and Industrial Pattern of DA, other allowances/benefits include HRA/Subsidized Housing, Medical Facilities, Gratuity, PF, etc.

Selection Process

The selection methodology will comprise:

  1. Computer Based Test (CBT): Written test covering Subject Knowledge, Numerical Ability, and General Awareness.
  2. Skill/Proficiency/Physical Test (SPPT): Qualifying in nature for shortlisted candidates.
  3. Document Verification: Verification of original certificates.
  4. Medical Examination: Pre-employment medical fitness check.

Exam Pattern

  • Mode: Computer Based Test (CBT).
  • Duration: 2 Hours (120 Minutes).
  • Questions: Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
  • Syllabus: 75% Subject Knowledge (Discipline-related) and 25% General Aptitude (Numerical Ability, Logical Reasoning, General Knowledge, English).
  • Qualifying Marks: 40% for General/EWS/OBC and 35% for SC/ST/PwBD.
