Gujarat Draft Voter List 2025
The Gujarat Draft Voter List 2025 has been officially released by the Election Commission of India (ECI) after the completion of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process. As per the latest official data, Gujarat now has around 4.34 crore registered voters. Citizens are advised to check whether their names appear in the draft electoral roll and submit objections or corrections within the prescribed timeline.
SIR Process Cleans Up Voter Data in Gujarat
Gujarat Draft Voter List 2025: Under the SIR exercise, the Election Commission carried out a comprehensive verification of voter records across the state. During this process, over 73.73 lakh voter names were removed from the draft list. These removals primarily include deceased voters, permanently migrated citizens, duplicate registrations, and unverified entries.
Out of approximately 5.08 crore voter enumeration forms, nearly 4.34 crore records have been fully digitized, significantly improving the accuracy and reliability of Gujarat’s electoral database.
Door-to-Door Verification by Booth Level Officers
To ensure transparency and accuracy, the Election Commission deployed 50,963 Booth Level Officers (BLOs) across Gujarat. Over the past one and a half months, BLOs conducted door-to-door surveys, distributed enumeration forms, and verified voter details such as identity, address, and residency status. This large-scale verification played a key role in finalizing the draft voter list.
