Important Correction
According to the latest notification, Junagadh Municipal Corporation has made corrections in the RR (Recruitment Rules) for the posts of Sub Fire Officer and Fireman.
The original recruitment application period was from 30 June 2026 to 21 August 2026. Following the correction, eligible candidates for these two posts will be given an additional/revised opportunity to apply online.
Eligibility Criteria
Sub Fire Officer
Education Qualification : Bachelor’s degree obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognised as such or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, and Completed the Sub Officer’s Course or the Fire Prevention course recognised by the National Fire Service College, Nagpur, OR Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Fire)/Bachelor’s of Technology (Fire)/Bachelor’s of Engineering(Fire and safety)/Bachelor’s of Technology (Fire and safety)/Bachelor’s of Science (Fire)/Bachelor’s of Science (Fire and safety) obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in India;
or any other educational institution recognized as such or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956; Know Computer Knowledge; Know Gujarati, English and Hindi Language. Also Required Technical Knowledge.
Salary : Rs. 26,000/- Fixed First Five Years. After Five Years Salary as per government rules.
Age Limit : 35 Years. Age Relaxation as per rules.
Fireman
Education Qualification : Higher Secondary school certificate examination from secondary and / or Higher Secondary education board or possess an equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Government; and Passed at least Six Months Full Time Course of Fireman or above level offered by National Fire Academy, Vadodara or NCVT or GCVT; Also Required Technical Knowledge.
Salary : Rs. 21,100/- Fixed First Five Years. After Five Years Salary as per government rules.
Age Limit : 18 to 33 Years
