Samras Hostel Admission 2026-27 Notification Released
Gujarat Samras Chhatralay Society has invited online applications for admission to Samras Hostels for the academic year 2026-27. Students belonging to SC, ST, SEBC, and EWS categories who are pursuing Graduation, Post Graduation, or other higher education courses can apply online through the official website. Admissions will be offered in Samras Boys and Girls Hostels located across various cities of Gujarat based on merit criteria prescribed by the society.

Eligible Students
Students belonging to the following categories are eligible:
- Scheduled Caste (SC)
- Scheduled Tribe (ST)
- Socially and Educationally Backward Class (SEBC)
- Economically Weaker Section (EWS)
Students studying in:
- Graduation Courses
- Post-Graduation Courses
- Other Higher Education Courses
can apply for admission.
Merit Criteria
For New Admissions
- Graduation level admissions will be granted based on Class 12 percentage.
- Post-Graduation admissions will be granted based on graduation percentage used for university admission.
- Students must have secured at least 50% marks.
For Renewal Students
Students already residing in Samras Hostels must also submit a fresh online application.
For Group-2 and Group-3 renewal admissions:
- Minimum 55% marks (SPI equivalent) in the last two semesters are required.
For Group-1 (Medical) renewal admissions:
- Minimum 50% marks are required.
Important Conditions
- Admission will be finalized only after verification of original documents.
- Incorrect information or mismatch in marks/documents may result in cancellation of admission.
- Students can apply only if they are studying in a college located in the same district where the Samras Hostel is situated.
- After submitting the application, students should verify the details carefully.
- Corrections can be made by withdrawing the application and submitting a new one before the last date.
- No modifications will be allowed after the closing date.
Required Verification Process
Students whose names appear in the provisional merit list must visit the concerned Samras Hostel within the prescribed time period for original document verification. Admission will be granted only after successful verification.
