Gujarat Gyansahayak Bharati Tharav : It has been decided by the State Government to make contractual appointments of knowledge assistant teachers in primary, secondary and higher secondary schools with the aim of not disrupting the academic work of the students until the vacant posts of teachers are filled up by forced recruitment. Besides, the physical and monthly development of the students can be done properly and the interest in yoga, physical education and sports can increase and also in the future national and international sports competitions, the students of Gujarat can perform in large numbers and achieve significant results while studying in schools. It has been decided to implement Sports Support Scheme for the purpose of preparing for games and sports. Following are the important points of both these schemes.
Gujarat Gyan Sahayak Recruitment 2023
At present, the posts of teachers are largely vacant in primary schools. Education Minister Kuberbhai Dindor said that 26500 knowledge assistant teachers will be recruited in the near future to complete this.
Along with this, about 5000 sports assistant teachers are also going to be recruited to provide sports and physical education to the students in the schools.
It is to be mentioned that earlier in the schools, traveling teachers were recruited on a temporary basis on an hourly and hourly basis. Now it is to be seen how these knowledge assistant teachers will be recruited? Either on permanent basis or on contract basis. It has PTC/B.Ed. Candidates who have completed and passed TET will get employment.

TET-I (Classes I to V) Educational Qualifications
- HSC (12th Exam) Pass from a recognized Board; And
- PCT/ D.EL.Ed (02 years); OR Primary Educational Degree – B.El.Ed (04 years); OR 02 years Diploma in Education (Special Education).

TET-II (Classes VI to VIII) Educational Qualifications
Mathematics/Science:
- B.Sc and PCT/ D.EL.Ed (02 years); Or

Gujarat Gyansahayak Bharati Age Limit
There is no age limit to apply for Gujarat Teacher Eligibility Test. However, the age limit will be decided by the Bharatiya Selection Committee during the recruitment process.
